Our Work
Julie Boyd and Eileen Lockhart are sisters with a desire to share the story of their ancestors, and the impact these characters' lives had on building the great United States. In this their first book, they share the story of their father's experience growing up on the 101 Ranch in Oklahoma alongside famous characters such as Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley and Geronimo. They bring to the pages of their book a real life account of the infamous Pearl Harbor attack. Currently they are working on a second novel about the growth of western expansion and its impact across the nation. While some elements are purely fictional, every story is rooted in real accounts of immigrants and natural-born Americans whose lives reflect the evolution of a growing nation. The characters are inspired by family relatives, each with a unique story to share. Enjoy the journey through history!

Several years ago, we set out on a journey to visit the places connected to our family’s past. Along the way, we realized just how important it is to honor and share these memories. Through letters, books, libraries, research, and Ancestry.com, our community has grown—bringing together individuals whose lives have been touched by this shared history.

Join us on a journey through history as we uncover the lives and legacies of those who helped shape America. Our story begins with Greek immigrants arriving before the Civil War and spans generations, concluding at the dawn of the jet age. Three generations of Americans travel across the continent, from North Carolina to California, their lives woven together by pride, determination, grit, and joy.
Our first book, Blue Jacket Legacy, takes readers through the hardships of the Great Depression, exploring pivotal moments such as the politics of migrant workers in El Centro, California, the world of western showmen, and the impact of World War II—including the attack on Pearl Harbor. It then moves into the rise of aviation electronics and its transformative role in the jet age.
